Kitchen “Must Haves”
Make your kitchen dreams come true
Ula Peacock, Designer
Comfort is what counts in every kitchen. To increase the comfort of using this most important of all rooms, as well as to perform everyday kitchen duties more efficiently, everyone has their own choice of design elements and appliances.
The Quooker tap
No more carrying water bottles from the store and waiting for the water in the kettle to boil. You can have cold or sparkling water and boiling water straight from the kitchen tap. Isn't that convenient?
We use boiling water in the kitchen almost as often as cold water: for brewing coffee and tea, cooking eggs, blanching vegetables, sterilising baby bottles, washing greasy pots and pans ... Boiling water in a kettle takes time and energy.
Microwave with oven
The microwave always takes up too much space on the worktop. A way to increase the worktop space is to use a built in microwave with oven combination. Currently on the market there are a lot of options available for such a product, from manufactures such as Neff and Caple.
The size of your kitchen will dictate the best choice.
Hiding sockets
Table top sockets are a type of electrical sockets that are mounted on or in the worktop. They can be in the form of vertical or horizontal panels that can be cleverly hidden under the worktop surface.
In situations when not in use, it is easy to hide with a single press of the flap, they then remain invisible and blend in with the aesthetics of the table top surface. Such a solution is especially appreciated by lovers of modern solutions and minimalist style in kitchen arrangements. In addition, worktop sockets are a very aesthetic solution because they are inconspicuous, and they are very functional because they are within easy reach.
